The print head of every DTF printer is a very important accessory. The quality of the print head can directly determine whether the ink is transmitted smoothly and directly affects the display of the entire finished pattern. At present, most printers basically use Epson print heads. The most commonly used ones are Epson 4720 and Epson 3200. So what is the difference between these two models of print heads?
The 4720 and 3200 print heads are both Epson products and have the same wide range of applications. They are currently mainly used in photo machines in the advertising industry, digital heat transfer printer in the textile industry and nowadays the most popular one —- DTF printers. Both of them have 4 ink column, 8 channels, and each print head has 3200 print heads.
The biggest difference between them is that the Epson 4720 needs to be used with a decryption card, while the EPSON 3200 does not require decryption. Moreover, EPSON 3200’s the voltage pressure of ink jet is relatively stable and balanced, and the overall color of ink jet is more colorful than EPSON 4720.
Theoretically, the printing speed of EPSON 3200 is 30% higher than that of EPSON 4720, and based on incomplete statistics from user data, the life of the 3200 print head is longer.
Last, The bigger difference is the cost of replacing the print head in the later stage. Generally, the probability of decryption card failure is much less than the replacement frequency of the print head, so generally you only need to replace the EPSON 4720 print head separately. The cost of the EPSON 4720 print head alone is cheaper than that of the EPSON 3200 print head.
Epson’s industrial print heads use unique technology and are compact in size. They are widely used in the digital output industry with the advantages of outputting high-quality images, stable and reliable performance, and easy maintenance.

Features of Epson 3200 print head:
1. ALL MEMS manufacturing technology and the use of thin-film piezoelectric elements can achieve high-precision output while maintaining high reliability and flexibility.
2. 1200 dpi reaches the industry’s peak resolution, creating excellent photo quality.
3. The cost-effective 1,200 dpi print head reduces the cost of the printing unit in industrial fields where multiple heads are widely used.
4.i3200 can have multiple channel print heads, and users can easily achieve precise calibration and high-quality printing.
5. The same board, ink and waveform can be used as the I3200-A1 (4-channel) print head.

Print head design: Optimized and upgraded print head ink path component materials and adhesive design to provide wider ink compatibility.
Epson print head ink compatibility test: For ink partners, we not only assist in self-testing of ink compatibility, but also provide compatibility testing services to optimize the compatibility between partners’ inks and print heads. Which one is better, the Epson 4720 print head or the 3200 print head? Friends can choose the print head of the white ink heat transfer printer according to their own needs.
