Sublimation Ink:
Sublimation ink (also known as disperse heat transfer ink) is a special inkjet pigment ink formulated with low-energy disperse dyes as colorants. The transfer process relies on the sublimation phase change, as detailed below:
- Print the mirrored pattern onto sublimation transfer paper first;
- Under high temperature of 180–220°C and pressure, the dyes skip the liquid state and sublimate directly from solid into gas;
- The gaseous dyes penetrate the molecular gaps of polyester or coated materials, then condense and get locked inside the substrates after cooling to form molecular-level bonding without any adhesive film on the surface.
- Bright colors, exquisite patterns, delicate picture quality, 3D effect
- High stretchability, high color fastness, washing fastness up to level 4
- No hollowing, no waste discharge, green and environmentally friendly
